I showed him my receipt, but he still said I should go back to the cashier. I went over to Wildcat and tapped my card, but the machine displayed an insufficient funds error. The cashier gave me a card as well as my receipt, as apparently the machine had been acting up, and told me that if it didn't work to show the ride operator the receipt. Maybe when I come back with a friend I might do it. Their 3rd coaster Tumbleweed, a kiddie coaster, was presumably open as well, but I'm not into getting kiddie credits, especially being by myself lol. ![]() I went back inside, and just purchased a ticket for Wildcat. This wasn't a surprise though, as on their website it did say that it was closed. Wildcat was up and running just fine, however Wild West Express was closed it looked like they were doing maintenance on it. It was also a little expensive, being $11.50 for the platter and $2.59 for a small soda.Īfter eating, I walked outside to look at the rides real quick before buying my tickets. They did give you barbecue sauce however which did help a little, but it wasn't anything that knocked my socks off. However, I thought it was a little bland as it had no seasoning on it. I had their brisket platter, which came with a piece of cornbread, and over all was pretty good as the meat was of good quality. ![]() It was a pretty slow day, and my food came relatively quickly, within 5-10 minutes. I ordered my food and was given a one of those vibrating things to let you know when you're food is done. I then walked over to the Whistlestop Smokehouse, which is the main food place there. Nothing much to say about the bathroom, it was pretty clean, no complaints there. I arrived at the park around 3:30 pm and went to the bathroom real quick. As it turns out, the park is almost exactly halfway between the two, so I figured it would make for a nice stop to grab some food and relax before hitting the road again. I decided to make a quick stop to the park on my way from my vacation spot in New Jersey to my apartment in West Virginia yesterday. I decided to make this short trip report because I don't really hear people talking about it at all, despite its somewhat significant 3 coaster collection.
